The land of Ahmedabad Commercial Mill went under the hammer at Gujarat high court to fetch a staggering price of Rs 71 crore. The winning bidder, Siddhi Corporation, wrested the prize 22,385 square metre plot on Monday after 34 rounds of bidding – the highest rounds so far in a court auction in the state. Per square metre cost for the land came to Rs 31,700.
The second highest bid was from Bahubali Space Infra LLP, which bid Rs 70.5 crore, and stayed in the game till the 32nd round of the auction.
